A salpicón drink is a refreshing and tasty mixture typical of various Latin American countries, including Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina, among others. It's made with a combination of fresh fruit chopped into small pieces, such as pineapple, mango, watermelon, melon, orange, among others. Water, lemon or orange juice is added to these fruits, and often ice cream or natural sweeteners like honey or agave syrup are added to give it a sweet touch.
